The VeriGAP is a line powered ultrasonic gap switch designed for reliable high and low point level measurements in a wide variety of liquids.

This ultrasonic sensor is not affected by variations in viscosity, density, pressure, temperature or electrical properties and does not require calibration.

With the VeriGAP you are guaranteed safety as the Verify circuitry continuously checks that the complete system is functioning correctly.

The VeriGAP is also the only safe gap switch available for high level alarming or indication (learn more about this in the data sheet).

Major Breakthrough

The VeriGAP level switch is the only safe gap switch available for high level alarming or indication. All other gap switches are inherently low level fail safe only. With most low-level fail-safe devices, either an absence of material or a component failure will indicate a low level alarm. With most high level fail-safe devices, the presence of material will only trigger an alarm if the system is functioning properly. A component failure, such as separation of the crystals, will cause the device to indicate an absence of material. This will result in a normal condition, even if the tank is over filling.

One-piece unit is easily installed through a single 3/4-inch, probe dependent vessel opening. Calibration is quick and simple.

Z-tron IV™ Point Level Switch, a reliable low-cost, on/off level switch

The low-cost, Drexelbrook Z-tron IV level switch is unaffected by sticky coatings and impervious to corrosive liquids. The all-electronic design means no moving parts to wear, break or fail. Based on field-proven RF technology, the Z-tron IV is a simple and reliable on/off level switch. The compact one-piece unit is inserted through a standard 3/4-inch , probe dependent, NPT opening into the vessel so that the sensing element is positioned at the desired high or low level. (Other connection types and sizes are also available.) When the material level reaches a predetermined point on the sensing element, it causes a change in status at the electronic unit, resulting in actuation of the DPDT relay. The relay can be used to operate alarms, annunciators, valves, or other control or indication devices.

Drexelbrook's Exclusive Cote-Shield

Cote-Shield enables the Z-tron IV to ignore dust pileups, coatings, and sticky buildups on the sensing element.

Application

The TF‑100 Series Point Level Switch is designed for reliable indication of liquids and light slurries. The output can be set to indicate alarm on either high level for spill prevention, or low level for run-dry protection.

Versatility

This versatile level switch requires no calibration and is available with relay, transistor, or current outputs. The electronic module responds to changes in frequency from an uncovered to a covered fork. As such, it is immune to changes in electrical properties of the material. This allows the TF‑100 Series to be used in vessels that can have either conductive or insulating liquids.

Maintenance Free

When used in accordance with installation guidelines the TF‑100 Series - Vibrating Tuning Fork requires no routine maintenance.

Sanitary

Sanitary models are available for Pharmaceutical and Food & Beverage applications.
