CONSTRUCTION

Our GT-521S allows the user to select particle sizes with two programmable count channels ranging from 0.3 to 10 microns each show differential or cumulative particle counts in real time, with selectable count units in .01 micron increments. The 521S features a simple and powerful menu-driven command set. A simple touch of a button sets particle sizes, sample time, alarm settings, and basic setup parameters such as date/time and communications settings. Remote operation via USB (cable supplied) or RS-232/RS-485 (optional cable) allows extensive control, including all front-panel operations. The GT-521S can store up to 8,000 sample events with outputs to printer, Excel or networked datalogging via included software (Comet). Sample history can also be viewed on the local display or download to a computer using the supplied Comet software.

The GT-521S is battery powered with 24 hours of typical (intermittent) operation or 10 hours of continuous operation from a single charge. Recharge time is approximately 2.5 hours. The GT-521S can also come with a temperature / relative humidity plug-and-play option, which immediately adds ambient temperature and relative humidity capabilities to the displayed and logged data.

Bench-Top Particle Counter BT-620

Our BT-620 Bench-Top Particle Counter provides a full feature set in a lightweight convenient size. This Counter monitors 6 particle sizes, includes a built-in printer, is battery or AC operated in a stainless-steel case. The 620 flow rate is 1.0 cfm (28.3 lpm) and is maintained with volumetric flow control for improved accuracy. Like the 610, the 620 data is easily viewed on its display from distances exceeding 3 meters.

OPERATIONS / INTERFACE

Our BT-620 Bench-Top Particle Counter provides a full feature set in a lightweight convenient size: 6 particle sizes, built-in printer, battery operation and a stainless-steel case. The built-in battery provides over 8 hours of typical (intermittent) operation or 4 hours continuous operation. Connect the AC adapter/charger for longer operation and battery charging. A temperature / relative humidity plug-and- play sensor option immediately adds ambient temperature and relative humidity information to the displayed and logger data.

The BT-620 has a large, easy to read display, audible alarm and internal printer that work together to verify particulate levels. If the particle count exceeds the user’s re-set limit, an audible alarm will sound. The screen display, sample history and printout will indicate the alarm event. Two programmable count alarm limits may be set. The user can select the particle sizes for each of the six channels from 0.3 to 10 microns. Custom calibrations are not required.

This Bench-Top Particle Counter stores over 8,000 sample events. Sample history can be viewed, printed or downloaded to a computer using Particle View software or simple ASCII terminal commands. A password feature prevents unauthorized changes for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. Connectivity is built-in for both digital (Ethernet, USB, RS-232, RS-485) and analog (0-5 VDC). The BT-620 also includes a Memory Stick port. The built-in printer has two modes of operation. Print Sample: prints the sampled data at the end of each sample including alarm, date, time and location. Recall Data: prints all sampled data from the first selected date and time to the second selected date and time.

ES-642 Remote Dust Monitor

Met One Instruments’ ES-642 Remote Dust Monitor is an industrial air-quality sensor designed to provide real time particle concentration measurements in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Our ES-642 measures particulate concentration using a highly sensitive forward scatter laser nephelometer, which has a measurement range of 0 to 100 mg/cubic meter (0 to 100,000 μg/cubic meter). As supplied, the ES-642 provides TSP particulate monitoring. Optional sharp-cut cyclones are available for PM₁, PM_2.5, or PM₁₀.

The ES-642’s serial and analog outputs support a wide variety of data collection systems. Serial outputs are MODBUS and basic ASCII via RS-232 or RS-485. Analog outputs include both 0-10 volts and 4-20 mA.

NPM 2 Network Particulate Monitor

The NPM 2 sensor is a nephelometer with purge air system which automatically measures real time airborne TSP or PM_2.5 particulate concentration levels. Designed for low-profile network applications it can be directly connected to the met One Instruments’ CCS Cloud Data Modem with data reporting to our associated Cloud Data Handling. The NPM 2 can also be directly connected to a data logger or laptop/PC for single source particulate monitoring. The NPM 2 will operate continuously for 24 months under in normal ambient air before recommended service checks.

ES-412

ntroducing the newest addition to Met One Instruments, Inc. line of Localized Particulate Monitors, the ES-412 Portable Simultaneous Particulate Profiler. As a Near-FEM (Federal Equivalent Method) product, the ES-412 provides the quality and day-to-day stability consistent with EPA quality objectives. This lightweight Particulate Profiler offers wireless, remote PM monitoring in a low profile, field deployable, weatherproof unit that measures both PM_2.5 and PM₁₀ simultaneously.

Set up with ease for either temporary quick deployment or permanent installation, and have instant access to data on your smart phone, tablet, or computer. Data from the ES-412 is backed up internally and then transmitted to a nearby cell tower every 15 minutes. In the event of cell tower communication loss, the ES-412 will attempt communication continuously until it is regained. When this occurs, the ES-412 will transmit all missing data when communication is re-established, providing data security.

Transmitted data contains 15-minute averages for PM_2.5 and PM₁₀ along with information on device power, flow, and internal diagnostics. Additionally, your custom web page dashboard offers a map showing where the unit is located with an internal GPS module. The ES-412 is a system that comes complete with cellular communications, a customized web page dashboard, a 3-year data plan, an AC power supply, and a transport case.

ES-405

The ES-405 is a near reference air quality sensor designed to provide accurate real time measurements of PM₁₀, PM₄, PM_2.5, and PM₁ particulate concentrations simultaneously. This unit reports four key particulate concentrations in both indoor and outdoor environments. The rugged weatherproof enclosure allows it to be used in the toughest environments for reliable continuous outdoor operation. The inlet heater reduces moisture-related measurement error. The sensor incorporates sheath air to prevent particles from contaminating the internal optics of the sensor. The unit can be wall mounted or installed on a vertical mast.

E-FRM Reference Air Sampler

Met One Instruments’ E-FRM is a single channel particulate sampler approved as a US-EPA reference method for PM_2.5, PM₁₀, PM₁₀-2.5. Configured with an alternate PM_2.5 cyclone, the E-FRM may also be operated as a US-EPA designated equivalent method for PM_2.5. For ease of shipping, the E-FRM is nested in a compact package. When installed, the package expands to normal sampling height, with sampler on top, separate pump box below within the work frame. The E-FRM sampler is designed for easy setup and deployment. This allows it to be used for either permanent long-term sampling at a fixed site, or as an audit sampler with frequent relocation.

E-SEQ-FRM Sequential Reference Air Sampler

Our E-SEQ-FRM Reference Method meets the regulatory requirements for PM_2.5, PM₁₀ and PM_10-2.5 sampling methods. The E-SEQ-FRM accommodates up to sixteen (16) 47-mm diameter filter samples and may be pre-programmed to a flexible, user-defined sampling schedule, permitting more than 2 weeks of unattended daily operation.

The E-SEQ-FRM is modular by design, being easily disassembled and transported from one site to another. It is compact with a small footprint which allows it to be moved in and out of locations with challenging ingress/egress. No disassembled component: system box, stand, or inlet assembly weighs more than 45 lb.

The E-SEQ-FRM features an easy, intuitive event manager that permits programming of up to 16 independent sampling events. Optional modem/communication packages allow for remote access of stored data via RS-232 interface. Data is also quickly and easily retrieved with a USB flash drive.

Two models provide a choice for compliance monitoring: SASS, a 5 channel sampling system; and SUPER SASS, an 8 channel, multiple event, sampling system. The SASS conforms to original EPA requirements and SUPER SASS adds benefits suggested by state and local authorities. Both models use concepts pioneered by Met One Instruments, such as the contamination free Canister, solar radiation shield, and modular design. BAM 1022 Continuous Beta Attenuation Mass Monitor

The Met One Instruments, Inc. BAM 1022 Real-Time Portable Beta Attenuation Mass Monitor continuously measures the mass concentration of ambient particulate matter collected onto glass filter tape with a time resolution of one minute. The BAM 1022 employs an in-line sampling geometry in which the attenuation of beta rays across filter media is measured and particulate matter is sampled simultaneously. This allows ambient sampling to occur for virtually 60 minutes each hour. It also allows for beta ray measurements to be made for virtually the entire hour thereby improving sensitivity and time resolution.
