Functional module for use in all design variants of the fire alarm system FMZ 5000. The module has 8 relays, each with a dry contact.
An activated relay is indicated by a red status LED. A separate relay card with up to 8 additional relays can be connected via a plug connector strip. Control happens via open collector outputs parallel to the relays in the module. This allows relays with higher switching voltages or currents to be used.

The module contains all connections and functions for  controlling and resetting an impulse valve in water  extinguishing systems with 24 V DC operating voltage. The operating positions of the valve are represented by two LEDs. The order to reset the valve is given via an external button connected to the module or a relay contact. Can be installed in the extinguishing control panel or in a separate housing with a mounting rail.

Function module for monitoring and signalling a ground  fault. The module monitors in a connected device the  galvanic separation between protective earth (PE) and  all secondary DC voltages inclusive of the ground wire as reference potential.

Functional module for use in all design variants of the 
fire alarm system FMZ 5000. The reflex module contains all components for flame  or spark detection, extinguishing and monitoring for 2 extinguishing zones where very fast fire detection and  virtually instantaneous extinguishing are of particular  importance. Conventional spark or flame detectors can  be connected to conventional detector technology.  All connected detectors and extinguishing components and their wiring are monitored for wire breakage and  short circuits. In addition, fault signals from self-monitoring detectors are processed and displayed.

FMZ 5000 spark test 8 module

Functional module for use in all design variants of the fire alarm system FMZ 5000. The spark test module contains 8 outputs each for connecting one test actuator. The actuators can be manually triggered or triggered at freely configurable test times by the spark test module, with multiple tests possible in one day. For testing, the actuator emits a light pulse of defined intensity. The intensity can be manually pre-set or automatically learned by the system. When triggering, the module checks whether the test  actuator is connected. The test actuators can be assigned during configuration to any spark detector group in the  fire alarm panel.

FMZ 5000 MxNet module

Part no.: 904877 

Functional module for use in all design variants of the  fire alarm systems FMZ 5000, as well as mimic panels and operating panels. Allows devices to be connected in a line-redundant loop network. Communication with the connected devices takes place via a serial interface in RS-232 standard. All data lines are continuously monitored. In the event of  line faults in the network, line redundancy means that the functions of the devices are not affected. The module is supplied with power by the networked device.

FMZ 5000 WEBmodule N cpl.

Functional module for use in mod 12 and mod XL  variants of the FMZ 5000 fire alarm system. The module is intended for the communication with a fire alarm panel via the TCP/IP protocol. It contains an interface according to the RS-232 standard  for communication with the control panel over module SIO1 (Part no.: 903466) or SIO3 (Part no.: 903467) via the Mx2 protocol. The connection of the IP network occurs via patch panel to the Ethernet interface with a RJ-45 female connector.

Functional module for use in all design variants of the fire alarm system FMZ 5000. Includes monitoring and control  for 2 remote transmission units (RTU). Each RTU can be used to transmit either fire or fault signals.

It supports  the Modbus RTU format. The Modbus module is always the Modbus slave and must be queried by a Modbus master. Each slave can be assigned an address in the range of 1-99.

24 V to 9 V voltage converter module

Function module for use of all detectors with 9 V  operating voltage (e.g. Minimax detectors) on any fire alarm control panels. 
The module lowers the voltage to a set value and transfers the standby- and alarm current of the connected detectors.  When using detectors for hazard areas with a risk of  explosion the requirements of detectors protected against explosion must be observed.  When using detectors with the „Intrinsic Safety“ protection type the prescribed safety barriers are to be used.

Functional module for connection of alarm devices by  using a polarity switchover. The module FMZ 5000 reverse voltage realizes a polarity switchover of one or two primary control groups within the fire detection and extinguishing control panel. When in idle state, the alarm devices are connected with „reversed“  polarity. The polarity is changed back in activated condition and the alarm devices activate.
