STI được thành lập vào năm 1989 với tên gọi là Sales Technology Inc. là công ty chuyên sản xuất thiết bị theo dõi, giám sát độ rung của máy móc. Năm 2010 Sales Technology Inc. đổi tên thành STI Vibration Monitoring Inc, các sản phẩm của STI đều được sản xuất tại Texas và Nevada (Mỹ).

STI’s Dual Output Accelerometers provide both a standard 100 mV/g vibration and a 10 mV/°C temperature signal using a 3-pin MS Connector. They are Class 1, Division 2 Hazardous Area Rated and come with a Lifetime Quality Warranty. Available in both Top and Side Exit Versions. Three (3) Conductor Extension Cables with matching MS Connector are in stock for immediate shipment.

1.7 Piezo Velocity Transducers

STI offers a complete line of Piezo Velocity Sensors. Piezo Velocity Sensors are based on a Accelerometer but with an integration circuit onboard to produce a dynamic output in Velocity instead of Acceleration. These sensors can solve may low signal issues by providing a higher millivolt output. As the integration is performed internally where lower noise is present a cleaner signal is provided. For long wire distances they are provided with your choice of 100 mv and 500 mV per in/sec output.

2.1 CMCP500 Series

STI's CMCP500 Series Din Rail Mounted Transmitters are available in 15 versions including all vibration parameters, temperature, speed and all TSI (Turbine Supervisory Instrumentation) functions. Transmitters include OK Circuit and a Buffered BNC Connector. With the optional Alarm Module they are a fully functional single channel monitors with OK, Alert and Danger Alarms. They are CSA/UL Class 1 Division 2 and CE approved.

STI’s CMCP700S Series is designed for low cost and high density as it is supplied in a slim line 12.5 mm case. The CMCP700S Series has a buffered output available on a screw terminal and is not provided with a BNC connector. The CMCP700S transmitters are also highly configurable in the field through internal DIP switches making application changes quick and painless.

2.3 TSI Functions

Turbine Supervisory Instrumentation (TSI) Systems provide continuous on-line monitoring and machine protection for steam and gas turbine generator sets. The TSI system measures a variety of supervisory parameters to provide reliable machine condition information and alert to any machinery problems. STI’s method of using a modular, distributive monitoring approach, coupled with utilizing existing plant networks where possible, result in an extremely cost-effective solution for monitoring a turbine generator set.

CMCP547 Transmitter for Differential Expansion: Differential expansion on a turbine is the relative Proximity Probe (Eddy Probe) measurement of the rotor’s axial thermal growth with respect to the case.
CMCP548 Transmitter for Case Expansion: Case Expansion is the relation of the shell or case in relation to its foundation. Turbine generator sets are tied down at one end and allowed to thermally expand at the other. An LVDT is used to measure this thermal growth, which on large machines can be several inches.
CMCP549 Transmitter for Valve Position: Valve position is measured with a LVDT observing the cam shaft rotation. It is an indicator of turbine load when the machine is on-line.
CMCP585 Transmitter for Eccentricity: Eccentricity is the measurement of Rotor Bow at slow roll by a Proximity Probe (Eddy Probe). It may be caused by any or a combination of a fixed mechanical bow, misalignment, temporary thermal bow, or a gravity

STI Vibration Monitoring Inc. offers a comprehensive line of Explosion Proof Electronic Vibration Switches for Industrial Rotating Machinery for both new installations and retrofitting obsolete units. Easy to mount and setup. The CMCP1000 meets the HPI Industries API-670 and the Low Cost Digital CMCP-DVS provides the essential features for OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) for a very competitive price. Both models include an internal 100 mv/g accelerometer, integrate to Velocity terms and provide two levels of alarm along with adjustable time delays. An External sensor can be used with both models for optimal sensor placement.
