Cảm biến đo mức dạng Radar là thiết bị đo mức không tiếp xúc các chất lỏng và chất rắn chứa trong các bồn, Silo, bể chứa mà bằng mắt thường chúng ta ko thể giám sát được. Phương pháp đo mức liên tục bằng sóng Radar cho phép đo với độchính xác cao, thời gian đáp ứng nhanh, độ bề lâu dài và hoạt động mà không thương xuyên bảo trì hay bảo dưỡng.

Nguyên lý hoạt động cũng giống như cảm biến đo mức bằng sóng siêu âm tuy nhiên tốc độ xử lý nhanh hơn, triệt tiêu được các song ảo, độ chính xác cao hơn và tốc độ âm thanh sấp sỉ bằng 331m/s còn tốc độ radar là 300.000 km/s

3. Cảm biến đo mức dạng Radar hãng VEGA

In continuous non-contact level measurement with radar, the sensor sends microwave signals towards the medium from above. The surface of the medium reflects the signals back in the direction of the sensor. Using the received microwave signals, the sensor determines the distance to the product surface and calculates the level from it.
